Your Past Does Not Have to Determine Your Future Say CEO of GNA Universal Media, Gina Sedman!

Words equal communication and communication equals understanding. As long as the listener understands what you have communicated, you have successfully completed your mission.
Whether properly or ebonically spoken, that’s not what the most important. What is important is your character, your integrity, and your heart. Never be compare yourself or be intimidated by others because of your, “quote”, lack of education. We all come from diverse backgrounds. Some of those in which can hinder one’s ability to academically develop to the level of others. Regardless, you should not let that stop you for pressing on right from where you are! So, you make a mistake? Who doesn't? We all do. Fix it and keep it moving. Don't let those mistake cripple you from achieving your personal greatness. Strive to be all that God has created you to be just working with the tools you have in your toolbox.
I was that girl born in south side of Chicago growing up in Inglewood and Central LA. I never thought in a million years that God would bring me to the place where I am today, but He did. Because of my challenging home life, going to 14 different schools and moving over 9 times, I suffered academically. I had a difficult time keeping up in school and my grades suffered. For a while mentally, it affected me. I remember feeling as though something was wrong with me because I didn’t get it like the rest of the kids in my class, but God had a plan for me life. I am a walking a living miracle and testament to what God can do in your life if you are determined against all odds to never give up. According to society, being a black girl from the “hood”, statically I was supposed to fail. But God said, not so!
I was determined not to fail! Still today, every time I feel tired or overwhelmed, I remember where God brought me from, and I get up and keep pushing! Yes, I had my failures along the way. We all have but those failures have been the fuel to me motivation and success. I have a long way to go if God wills but I will say this, whatever I do, I will always give God all the praise and the glory for what He has done in my life. I wanted to share this with someone that needed to hear this on the 1st day of the new year. Dream big and never give up! I don’t care where you come from, all things are possible through Christ Jesus!
Know that you are fierce, talented, gifted and loved by God! He made you in His image. How wonderful is that! So, stop worrying about what people say. They haven’t been where you came from and aren’t going where you’re going. Keep your eyes on where God is taking you and strive to be integral, kind, giving, loving and the amazing human that you are! I hope I have effectively communicated that to you today.
Wishing you a Happy New Year!
