Updated: Feb 2, 2022

Hi Dawnielle, thank you for doing this interview. Where are you from? I’m a middle child of 3. Born and raised in Indio, California. Older sister Kiara and younger brother Desmond White. Went to LaQuinta High and graduated in 2005. Grew up in 2nd Baptist Church my whole life and still serve there. I majored in Theater arts and minored in Nursing. I’m currently a nurse and still acting. I’ve been part of greenroom theater for the past 10 years and have a huge passion in theater. One of my mentors is Jeffery Strange who pushes me to go for it! I run many things by him, and he just encourages me to do it!

Where are you from? Indio, Ca

Where are you currently living? Bought a house with my husband 5 years ago and currently living in Coachella.

What would you like to share with the public that makes you Unique? I’m a hustler!!! I’m passionate about womanhood and sisterhood. I’m all about togetherness and never considered myself unique. I simply just want to give woman a voice. I’ve started a juicing business D2 Mobile Juice Bar by simply making one for a friend and they started promoting how good it was. I’ve also started a book club My dream is to open a book store that will serve the African American culture and provide a forum for poets and the youth to gather and grow!

What are the lessons that you've learned through your experiences that you would like to share with everyone? Be humble in everything you do!. Keep your integrity in your life’s passions. Stay true to what you believe. My passions have taken me to new places and experiences that I’m grateful for. One example was for acting role I auditioned for. The role put me in compromising situation where the role didn’t align with my spiritual beliefs or Christian walk. The role called me to say a lot of language (Cursing) that made me feel uncomfortable, so I spoke with the director and discussed the role and language in certain scenes and we agreed to make some revisions that kept the scenes integrity and more importantly, mines as well. This was a great lesson that you do not have to settle! Also get a mentor. Mines is Jeffery Strange and he pushes me all the time to go for it!

Any closing words you would like to share?

Stay prayed up and know everything is going to work out! GOD is always on time. Nothing is more powerful than prayer and I’m praying for all people.
